The Seine is a long river of the north of France and is part of the Parisian landscape. One can have a ride on a river boat and enjoy the beautiful view as well as the different monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Grand Palais. On the bank of the Seine, you can find many book store where you can by old and second-hand books. From July to mid-August, the bank is closed to cars so people can enjoy a walk as well as the many activities organised, such as “Paris plage”, with sand and palm trees set along the river.
